"I left in love, in laughter, and in truth, and wherever truth, love, and laughter abide, I am there in spirit."
---Bill Hicks (1961-1994)It seems that a fan recorded tape of Bill in concert, dated October fifth '93, has surfaced. The show takes place shortly after the infamous Letterman debacle. This is Hicks nearing the end, fully aware of his cancer, still preaching to the unwashed masses and occasionally throwing out some dick jokes.
The material ranges from the familiar (he opens with what got cut from Letterman) to the unfamiliar. There are some bits about him trying to get his dad to eat mushrooms and even the unveiling of a new character that the master never got a chance to fully flesh out. The audio is on par with many of Hick's own live recordings, with one dropout of unknown length.
