The Sig 556 assault rifle was announced at this year's SHOT show in Vegas..This thing makes me wet.
Gas operated design, removable barrel.... It's a thing of fuckin' beauty. Swiss engineered, american made. The msrp on one of these honeys is $1,300. For all those clamoring for an american version of the 55x series, this should be on your dealer's shelves by august of '06.
My only complaint is that there isn't a .308 version yet. Hopefully it is in the works.
